WOW!

I don´t even know where to start....
´The family´overlooking Bariloche, Argentina.  Gorgeous!!!
We arrived back in Santiago early Thursday morning...approx. 1:00am from an incredible vacation that I shall never forget.  I am so blessed to have been able to see all that I did... sorry that this is so vague but I hardly know how to describe all that I saw.  Let me just say that our God is the most creative creator! His works are WONDERFUL, I know that full well.
Our first stay was in Puerto Varas, Chile, S.A.  (2 nights in a cabin near a crystal clear lake).  Puerto Varas is known as ´The City of Roses´and is obvious by the many flower...simply breathtakingly perfect!!!!
We slowly made our way into Argentina...by way of boat and bus through the Andes Mountains.  Incredible... We stayed one night more in no mans land in the middle of Chile (Peulla, Chile... population roughly 150 persons) on our way across the boarder.  It was beautiful and really quite peaceful.  Bethie pointed out today that there were no dogs barking or cars passing during our nights stay...I hadn´t really thought about that aspect of our stay.

My thought is...How can anyone look at the blue crystal clear waters with the snow caped Andes mountains and volcanoes behind and say....'It all happened by chance. There is no Creator.'  Ha, this is the most foolish thing that could ever be thought or uttered.  I do not laugh about these people and their sad lives full of misdirection...that will ultimately end in separation from the Love of all.  The Father, Creator, and Finisher of our faith.  He IS...regardless of what people may say or think.  The reality is staring them in the face and they determine to keep their blind eyes firmly shut.  That is their choice and decision.

So, this trip, to Argentina...was incredible.  Not only the AMAZING landscapes but also the slow pace, sleeping in in the mornings, and exploring a "new" (to me) country.  Simply increíble!  To say the least.

O...and the food was good to!  We have empanadas in Chile too...

I just sent in my last TESOL unit this afternoon (Friday)...I will find out on Sunday or Monday whether I passed or not.  Just a little unnerving.  But it will be good to be done... Then on to job searching.   Please pray about this.  I am really having a hard time knowing what God has in store and what I am supposed to do next.  Thinking about leaving Guatemala just makes me even more confused....I feel like my heart is there but I´m not sure how it can remain.  Pray that I will have direction in what I am to do.  Obviously there is no way a single young girl can live there alone...so pray that God will show me how it can be possible.

Things are slowing down here now that Christmas and vacation are over...kinda nice for the break.  I hope that each and everyone of you have begun the new year with great anticipations and a deep desire to know Him greater this year!  Thank you all for your prayers!  They are appreciated more than you could ever know.  Thank you!  And I will say ´Goodnight´from Peñalolen, Santiago, Chile, S.A.
