Time is drawing very near to my departure...and as it comes steadily closer I will warn you...I may just not have a whole lot of time to up date...so keep this in mind. Know that I haven´t died just been very busy. Even now I am feeling a bit overwhelmed with everything I would like to have accomplished. We will see. Pray that I will not become distracted from the things that are most important in this hustle and bustle. Thank you!

Me and the course coordinator...receiving my certification/diploma.
Well, this week was my last week at Spanish school. I was able to participate in an extra curricular class after school in cooking Thursday. We made fish, french fries, chilean type salad, and natural peach juice. Today (Friday) was my last day as well as another student from the school, so they prepared a going away meal. Before we ate we were presented with our certificates of completion of the course and asked to say something...of course in Spanish...I cannot even begin to tell you just how nervous I felt. Monday I got to ride the bus to the metro (I have only ever taken the bus home) which meant I wasn´t too sure of the route the bus took...so, up the hill and back down the hill...at the top the driver says "Young lady where are you going?...(after I tell him and he tells me that I should have gotten on a different stop...he says) We are headed there now."...and so we arrived. And to my surprise I arrived fifteen minutes early to class. Pretty much never happens. So I was pleased.

Our grocery store has an enormous amount of Tuna...this side of the isle is pretty much dedicated to tuna alone. Crazy...I would be satisfied were it peanut butter or something...THAT WOULD BE AMAZING! :)

Hilda...
This past weekend I stayed home with the cousins and Hilda (My Uncle´s Sister) while my Aunt and Uncle led a marriage retreat in Paraguay. What this meant was my language was stretch and my stomach may have been too...explanation. Hilda is from Colombia...she speaks only Spanish. While living in Colombia she had a restaurant...incredible cook. With my Aunt´s absence at church I had to prepare the slides for worship. I think that I must mention how much the sound person is taken for granted...THANK YOU BETHIE! No, it isn´t that big of a deal...however to make the slides appear decent, be in the right order, and say the correct things, you must put some time and effort into it.
Tonight we are participating in yet another Café Concierto... not sure what my role will be tonight...possibly a waitress again. And I am already tired...don´t know how this is going to work. We will just see. Tomorrow we have a church work day to finish all the little details in the Church sanctuary that we have just put aside for a bit. Sunday will be my last day of Worship with Comunidad Cristiana Casa Grande...bittersweet. Thankfully my violin is holding up so I will be able to play...and one of my favorite songs too!! Excited!
Well that is all for now. Hope you all have been doing well. Saludos desde Santiago Chile, S.A.
